My nickname

                        I have two nicknames. 

I love my nicknames because they are different to other peoples. My friends like calling me "Ella Bella", because it rhymes with my real name and its fun to say. My teachers like to call me "Happy Colour" its "Happy Colour" because one day I told the teacher she was wearing Happy Colour and then, ever since, she has called me "Happy Colour". If I could give myself a nickname it would be Ella-cat, because my friends nicknames are Jess-Cat and Emi-Cat.

South hornby finds the top team

At 11 o'clock, on Wednesday the 18th of November 2015, The year 5 and 6's went on the field for top team for some fun and enjoyment.

When we got on the field we got into are teams ready for some fun when we got into are teams we ran to are first activity are first activity was the gutter ball.

•  We had to collaborate we had a pipe and a ball  we would push the ball it would go down the pipe and some one would attach there pipe until it was in the bucket then we would do it again until the bell rang.

• The next activity was the skies were there was a place you would stick your foot in and then you would move it all together to know when to do it are team shouted left 123 right 123 and we got past the flag two time so we got 20 points.

• The next activity we had to trow a hula hoop and we would try and trow in on to the sicks and the we would win the point that were on the stick.

• Then we did the map hop in map hop you stand on puzzle pieces and you can not touch the ground when you get to the end you make a map it is really hard 

• The next activity involved water there was pipe and it had holes and you had to fill the pipe up and get the  ball when it was about to fill it up again Mrs Guinniety asked to have it then she filled it up and trowed it a Gary (I was waiting for someone to wet some one it was so funny)

• Then we walk to egg on a spoon where you had a big spoon not a small spoon a big spoon and we went throw an obstacle course it was fun hard .

• Then are last activity was card house where you had big cards not small big and we worked together to build a tower and the biggest won are tower did not fall so we jumped on it and Gary got covered.

I loved top team because shhh don't tell Gary that my favorite part was Gary getting wet it was so funny

                                                   

Rubbish

          STOP PICK UP YOUR RUBBISH
Don't leave it on the the floor pick it up if you want                to live in a world that's clean 
If you just pick up ten pieces a day so when your are alder you will                                       not sink in a rubbish. 

     Put your rubbish in the bin so you do not sink in rubbish. 

Kiwi fruit

In new Zealand we eat kiwi fruit .Kiwi fruit is a green fruit with seeds kiwi fruit you can get kiwi fruit at countdown and PAK'nSAVE .I eat my kiwi fruit with a spoon and a drink of milk. I also eat my kiwi fruit as a milk shake It looks something like this .                                              I call kiwi fruit the fuzzy green

Kiwi fruit has five time as much as vitamins C as 

an orange. It also has vitamin A,K,E and B.                       

                                                        Kiwi fruit is also used for making fruit salad.

                                        Did you know that you can eat kiwi fruits skin and in it is yummy.

                                           You can also put kiwi fruit on cakes to make them taste better.

Pablo Picasso

We have been learning about 3D shapes and Pablo Picasso and his work . Pablo Picasso is one of the       people that invented cubism. We made a drawing of us using 3D and 2D shapes I used a a oval for my head a cube for my top a circle for my eyes hearts for my checks and lot more shapes .

My pacific flower

We have been Doing art while the choir is away and one type of art we have been doing is the pacific flower.

• First we drawled a flower  
• Then we  copped the flower ten times .
• Then we had to die the couler. 
• Then we let them dry 
• Then we cut the out 
• Then we we had to stick the petals on                               paper
• Then we weaved black and white paper together

Science Experiment

We have been doing science experiment and one of them is moving milk.

• First step get a bowl of milk 
• Next step put drops of food colouring in the bowl of milk
• Next put some dish washer 

             Your milk will move when you put the dishwasher  in and It                                        looks so cool .

The Very Bad Book Trailer Made By Jessica And Ella

The bad book trailer We have been making book trailers and my book trailer was about the very bad book that I made with Jessica.We made it on I movie I learnt that on I movie that you can put sound affects on .My favorite part on the book trailer was the end.
